General Report; We have done this trip a few times, head out from Gloucester to the Woko NP turnoff, find the start of Carters Trail and make our way up to Pole Blu via the forrest tracks that may involve 4WD and recoveries as it could be damp in places. Drop down off the range to Timor Caves then Moonan Flat, set up camp across the river and wander over to the Victoria Hotel for drinks and a meal. Head back to camp for a night around the fire? Or stay in the pub?
Head out from camp on Sunday through Elerston and Barry Station via the 26 crossing Road, lunch at Hanging Rock / Nundle then home via Forrest Road, Cooplacurripa, Mount George etc.
If Attending; Ring trip leaders on 0437938042 or 0404866494 by Wed evening before trip.
Planning to have dinner in the Pub Saturday night, I don’t need to book a table for us all. Will don’t need to speak to Pub re. numbers but we do need to look for you at meeting point on Saturday am.
